Trash and Stash Junk Removal Joins Hands with Karson's Kompassion Project for Mission Trip to Eswatini

Fort Mill, SC – June 27, 2024 – Trash and Stash Junk Removal, the leading B-Corp certified junk removal service in the U.S., is thrilled to announce that our Director of Operations, Chase Waychoff, will be embarking on a mission trip to the Kingdom of Eswatini on July 5, 2024. This mission, in collaboration with Fort Mill’s Karson’s Kompassion Project and Adventures In Missions (AIM), supports various ministries and outreach programs, providing practical help and encouragement to the communities in Eswatini.

About the Mission Trip

Eswatini, formerly known as Swaziland, faces severe challenges, including the world’s highest HIV infection rate at 28 percent and recent food insecurity exacerbated by the worst drought in the last century. With a life expectancy of just 49 years and limited employment opportunities, the need for support and intervention in Eswatini is immense.

The mission trip, organized by AIM and supported by Karson’s Kompassion Project, focuses on three primary areas:

  1. CarePoint Ministry: Engaging with children through teaching, playing games, providing meals, and sports activities. This ministry aims to build relationships, bring hope, and share love with the kids, many of whom face significant daily challenges.

  2. Feeding Program: Assisting in meal preparation, serving, and distribution at CarePoints. These programs are crucial for children who may not receive sufficient food outside these initiatives.

  3. Work/Service Projects: Supporting partners with hands-on tasks such as painting, landscaping, and light construction work. These projects help improve the infrastructure and living conditions of the communities.

The Heart Behind the Mission

Karson’s Kompassion Project was founded in memory of Karson, whose love and compassion for others continue to inspire and drive the mission. This trip is a manifestation of that love, bringing it to children and families in Eswatini who need it most. By partnering with AIM, Trash and Stash Junk Removal and Karson’s Kompassion Project aim to make a tangible difference in the lives of the Swazi people.

Why this Mission Matters to Chase & Trash and Stash

At Trash and Stash Junk Removal, we’re committed to making a positive impact not just through our environmentally responsible junk removal services, but also by supporting global communities in need. Our B-Corp certification reflects our dedication to social and environmental performance, accountability, and transparency. This mission trip aligns perfectly with our core values, demonstrating our commitment to compassion, community support, and global responsibility. This trip is also unique in that has both local and global reach.

What happened to Karson was a tragedy. What was born out of that tragedy is something truly remarkable. I would quite literally follow Debbie to the other end of the Earth to help support KKP. Their impact on the local community here and across the Atlantic is something I needed to be a part of. My wife and I spent a few weeks in South Africa in 2017 and fell in love with the people. I knew I'd be back, I just didn't know exactly when. What better time than now and for what better reason?

Junk removal was not my first career choice. It was my best choice though. I used to run events for a living. I did that for almost 15 years until a global pandemic launched me into the junk removal business. I’m an expert in operations, team building & creating incredible customer experiences. And... I love helping people simplify their lives.
