Thought Leadership: Trash & Stash Veep Featured in New Real Estate Podcast

Fort Mill, S.C. — October 18, 2022 — Trash & Stash Vice President of Administration Chase Waychoff is well-versed in the junk removal business, but he also knows what it’s like to be a young first-time home buyer having purchased his first home when he was only 21.

Waychoff, now 35, shares these insights and more in a new episode of Laura Moreno’s The First Time Home Buying Podcast, which can be listened to and downloaded here.

The podcast’s introduction states that “Chase Waychoff is the Vice President of Trash & Stash, a junk removal, moving and storage business in Fort Mill, S.C.

He purchased his first property on his 21st birthday using an FHA loan and has coached many first-time homebuyers over the years since. When he isn’t hustling in the field working, he is usually somewhere riding a bike or at home with his family.”

Whereas Moreno’s podcast is geared toward the homebuying experience, she asks Waychoff to describe Trash & Stash’s services, and she remarks about the company, “when I saw it, I said, oh my gosh, this is such a great idea.”

An original crew member when Trash & Stash launched in April 2021, Waychoff left to pursue a restaurant industry opportunity before rejoining the company this February as its first-ever Vice President of Administration. In the podcast he tells Moreno how the company started and how the business works.

How does it relate to the first-time home buying experience?

Moreno deftly steers the conversation in that direction, asking Waychoff, “how do you work with first-time homebuyers?”

Junk removal was not my first career choice. It was my best choice though. I used to run events for a living. I did that for almost 15 years until a global pandemic launched me into the junk removal business. I’m an expert in operations, team building & creating incredible customer experiences. And... I love helping people simplify their lives.
