The Details
Our rates have modestly ratcheted up since we started. This was necessary to cover increases in dump fees, fuel, labor, maintenance, storage and insurance. We’re still susceptible to this and will monitor and adjust as we go.
That said, pricing got a little muddier when we brought in new equipment. The truck and trailer functions different than the van. Space, time on the job, frequency of dump/ donation are different. We had been adjusting our prices to account for this difference. No more though.
With this new pricing model, a full trailer now costs 25% less!
The base pricing is the same for van and truck and trailer. It’s based on our load calculator tool (item count & volume) with surcharges for time, distance, weight and difficulty. This is a more fair way of pricing that should result in more aggressive rates across the board.
