Michael Iliff Joins Trash and Stash to Bolster Commercial Junk Removal Sales Team
By: Cameron Ungar
I’m like… really excited to make this announcement! The Trash and Stash team is growing. Any time we bring on someone new, we’re pumped. But in this case, the someone new, is an old friend.
Michael Iliff has come on board and will ultimately be responsible for leading our sales efforts. Michael joins us from Genuine Parts Company (Napa Auto Parts) where he was the Territory Sales Manager and Wholesale Manager for the Central Coast of California. A seasoned sales pro, Michael will help us grow our commercial junk removal business.
More important though, Michael has been one of my closest friends since 6th grade. It’s really fun working together for the first time since graduating high school 25 years ago. It means a lot that he trusted me and believed enough in what we’re building to pick up and move cross- country.
Michael joins an amazing team and I’m humbled to be a part of it. I started Trash and Stash because I saw an opportunity. I thought we could take a proven business model and make it better by…
- Creating exceptional customer service experiences.
- Using effective but simple technology to streamline processes.
- Establishing career positions for skilled, long term employees.
- Developing environmentally responsible disposal practices.
- Maintaining a hyper local focus to meaningfully contribute to our local community.
As we approach our 2 year anniversary we’ve succeeded in building a viable business. But we’re not satisfied with viable. With the team we have in place, we’re now looking to reimagine and ultimately redefine junk removal. To live at the front of the bell curve and create a new service category all for ourselves.
There are big things coming and Michael will play a key role in our future.
Our aim is to be the most eco- friendly, most- considerate, most responsive, easiest to use junk removal business in the greater Charlotte area. We make it super simple for people to do the right thing with their stuff.
Many of you have already met Michael… because like everybody who walks through our doors, his Trash and Stash journey starts on the truck (and truthfully… we have a small team, so none of us are ever really “off the truck.”). He’s learning our trade from the ground up.
