Junk Removal That Thinks Local. Acts Local.
It's important that we help make our community better.
Trash and Stash was a COVID baby. When we started it seemed like the world was barely holding it together. But the more we got out there, the more we realized people were still people. They were still good. And they still wanted what was best for each other. We would have never gotten off the ground without the generosity of others.
That’s why it’s always been important to us to focus on giving back to our community. To be a company that not only provides a valuable service but makes our world a little bit better. We subscribe to a think local, act local philosophy. That small local acts of good, can lead to big impacts to those closest to us.
Our Promise to You.
Exceptional Service:
Our business is taking care of people. Connecting in real ways. That starts with being considerate, honest, respectful & accountable. Being shockingly human.
Environmentally Responsible:
Leave things better than we found it. Be sustainable by adopting practices to reduce waste and encourage reuse.
Community Focused:
Local and independent, we’re dedicated to serving our community and finding ways to give back.
2nd Life Resale Program
How we turn "junk" into funding for pediatric cancer research
We are fortunate to have a great and long standing relationship with the Isabella Santos Foundation. They’ve been a fantastic partner and support a truly worthy and humbling cause.
To support ISF, we launched the Trash and Stash 2nd Life program. It’s simple. Sometimes the junk we pick up is not junk at all. Rather than send it the dump, we give it a 2nd life. We sort and then resell these items on Facebook marketplace at liquidation prices. The money raised is then split 50/50. The first half goes to the Isabella Santos Foundation to raise money for rare pediatric cancer research.
The second half is put into an employee pool that pays out monthly to the crew. They don’t need it, but this rewards the team for properly sorting our hauls and taking extra care of the items we collect.
To further support ISF, we created the Give and Save Program. This is an ongoing promotion. When you donate $25 or more to ISF, we’ll take 10% off junk removal or moving help (up to $100).

[Bright Blessings] had the opportunity to partner with Trash and Stash to get Literacy Kits delivered to gaston County Schools. Their team is so amazing and friendly. They loaded up in the rain got it done in record time. I can't thank them enough for their flexibility and partnership. Excited to work with them again in the future.
